RECEPTION OF THE RELIC OF ST THOMAS OF CANTERBURY MAY 2016

WEDNESDAY 25TH MAY 2016

St Magnus was filled to capacity for this auspicious occasion.
Celebrated by and in the presence of the Revd Jonathan Baker, Bishop of Fulham, together with a short talk on the history of the Relic by The Bishop of the diocese of Szeged–Csanád, The Rt Revd László Kiss-Rigó.
All the congregation had the opportunity to venerate the Relic and the service closed with a liturgical performance of the SOLEMN PONTIFICAL VESPERS by Johann Baptist Schiedermayer (1779 – 1840).
A truly unique and memorable occasion for St Magnus and all those present.
