St Michael's Trust

St Michael, Crooked Lane

PLEASE SUPPORT THE FUTURE OF MUSIC
AT ST MAGNUS THE MARTYR
BY DONATING TO ST MICHAEL'S TRUST
REGISTERED AS A CHARITY NUMBER NO. 298806

The St Michael's Trust is a registered charity that was set up in 1987 with a share of the proceeds from the sale of the remaining part of the burial ground of St Michael Crooked Lane, when the land was needed for the expansion of Monument underground station.  St Michael Crooked Lane was demolished in 1831 to make way for King William Street, but part of the burial ground remained.

The Trust's sole purpose is to provide financial grants to the church of St Magnus the Martyr, particularly to help meet the costs of the professional organist and choir, whose first CD ('Regina Coeli - Music for High Mass and Benediction from St Magnus the Martyr') can be purchased at the church or via Amazon.

The Trust is run by a board of trustees, which is independent of the Parochial Church Council. The annual income from the Trust's capital is less than the cost of the music at St Magnus the Martyr. The trustees would therefore like to increase the capital, so that grants from the Trust can fully meet the costs of the organist and choir and safeguard the future of the church's outstanding musical tradition.

Please help to support the Trust's work by completing and returning a standing order and gift aid declaration.
